Recommendations from The Comprehensive Review Task Group


After two years of intensive study and consultation, the Comprehensive Review Task Group is recommending major changes to The United Church of Canada that would revitalize and nurture as range of ministries, simplify governance ans administration, and enable the church to live within its resources.
“Our current organizational structure is simply not sustainable from the point of view of either our volunteers or our finances” explains Rev.   • Dave Hoy and the Railway City Ragtime Band Fundraiser

    The Railway City Rag Time Band, featuring Dave Hoy, is presenting “Raise the Roof”, the concert is on Saturday, May 23rd at 6:45 p.m. here at Metropolitan. Tickets are $20 and are available  after each Sunday service in the Great Room and through the church office Monday through Friday.

Brian Jackson leads the Musicians of Orchestra London in a selection of your favourite classics, from Elgar’s Pomp and Circumstance and Parry’s Jerusalem, to a suite from Downton Abbey. Bring your flags and wear your hearts on your sleeves for this afternoon of stirring music led by Maestro Jackson.
