Recommendations from The Comprehensive Review Task Group

After two years of intensive study and consultation, the Comprehensive Review Task Group is recommending major changes to The United Church of Canada that would revitalize and nurture as range of ministries, simplify governance, administration, and enable the church to live within its resources.

  “Our current organizational structure is simply not sustainable from the point of view of either our volunteers or our finances” explains Rev.     We will begin our summer single service of worship at 10:00 a.m. on July 5th. The Radio recording will still be broadcast at 11:00 a.m. each week at 11:00 through the summer. We will return to the 9:30 and 11 a.m. service times on September 13th.

    The Fifth Annual Met Music and Drama Summer Camps will take place in July of 2014. This year we are again offering two separate weeks with age-appropriate musicals for each group. The fee is $125. Children aged 6 - 10 years will meet from July 6th to the 10th. Children aged 11 - 15 years will attend from July 20th to the 24h. Both camps run from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Space is limited and the camps are 75% full!. For more information, please contact Gregg Redner at 432-7189, ext. 27.
